Instead, try soothing mint greens, bolder blue-green sage, or a brighter lime green that create a soothing atmosphere and help you wake feeling energized. Pair green wall colors with neutral beige or rich, dark blue accents. In the same study, silver ranked fourth with people sleeping for seven and a half hours.

Silver reminds people of the glow of the moon, so it’s a perfect color for a bedroom. Silver is an easy color to incorporate in a room, especially if you pair it with blue or green. An entire silver wall might seem a bit stark, but take a blue or green wall and put in silver lamps, wall hangings, and chair rail or trim.
